Hobbs Electrical Group is a Hemel Hempstead-based electrical company serving domestic, commercial and industrial clients across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.
Founded by two best friends who share a passion for cricket, craftsmanship and getting electrical work done properly — Hobbs Electrical Group brings together over 25 years of combined electrical expertise alongside extensive business leadership experience.
We are NAPIT registered, JIB Gold Card holding, fully insured, and DBS checked. Every job is carried out by our own qualified engineers to BS 7671 standards.

Dan Hobbs
Master Electrician & Technical Director
Dan is the technical heart of Hobbs Electrical Group — a master electrician with 25 years of hands-on experience across domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work. A qualified supervisor for nearly 15 years, Dan sits on the ECA Technical Committee, advising on industry standards at the highest level.
Dan's particular passion is electrical design and garden lighting installations — creating beautifully engineered outdoor spaces that are as safe as they are stunning. Whether it's a complex commercial design or a bespoke garden lighting scheme, Dan brings meticulous technical expertise and genuine artistry to every project.
Keith Mannering
Director & Business Lead
Keith brings over 20 years of senior leadership experience across a range of industries, combining deep commercial expertise with fully qualified electrical engineering skills. His background in regulated industries — including rail infrastructure and high-value technical operations — ensures Hobbs Electrical Group is run with the governance, precision and client focus that sets us apart.
Keith's role spans business development, client relationships and operational management — ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget and to the standard our clients expect.
